EllenCeleste's Fiber Corner Ellen at spinning wheel

Welcome, to my fiber corner. I've been involved in some kind of fiber art since I was nine. Or maybe earlier. I remember sitting on my father's lap and learning to crochet making rag rugs when I was five or so. But I didn't start any independant projects until I began to take knitting lessons at age 9. I learned to sew as a teen, and began tatting lace while making my wedding veil when I was 20. One of my favorite things is spinning yarn, which I learned to do after Michael asked if he could buy some llamas at an auction on our 25th anniversary. My response was, "Sure, if I can learn how to spin". I've been spinning ever since.

A quick way to see my most recent projects is to look at my Fiber Objects set on Flickr
